Job Summary:
The Assistant Technician supports senior technicians in vehicle inspection, servicing, repair, and maintenance activities to ensure efficient workshop operations and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist technicians in vehicle repair and maintenance work.
- Support vehicle inspection and fault diagnosis activities.
- Help in servicing engines, brakes, suspension, and electrical systems.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and workshop cleanliness.
- Perform basic repair and maintenance tasks under supervision.
- Assist in vehicle washing, cleaning, and final delivery preparation.
- Follow workshop safety procedures and company standards.
- Update job card details and service records as instructed.
- Handle spare parts and tools properly.
- Support timely completion of service and repair jobs.
- Coordinate with workshop staff for smooth operations.
- Ensure customer vehicles are handled carefully and professionally.
Required Skills:
- Basic knowledge of automobile systems and servicing.
- Ability to learn technical repair work quickly.
- Teamwork and communication skills.
- Basic tool handling and workshop knowledge.
- Discipline and time management.
Qualification:
- ITI / Diploma in Automobile, Mechanical, or related field preferred.
Experience:
- Fresher or 1–2 years of experience in automobile workshop/service industry.
