Job Summary:
We are seeking a Head – LEAP Academy (NEET & JEE) to lead and manage the academic and operational activities of the NEET and JEE coaching programmes. The role involves academic planning, faculty management, student performance monitoring, curriculum implementation, parent engagement, and ensuring strong academic outcomes. The ideal candidate should have sound knowledge of competitive examination preparation and the ability to lead faculty teams and drive student success.
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead and oversee the academic and operational functions of the LEAP Academy’s NEET and JEE programmes.
· Develop and implement academic plans, curriculum schedules, assessments, and revision programmes aligned with NEET and JEE requirements.
· Lead and mentor faculty and academic teams, ensuring effective teaching, performance, and adherence to academic standards.
· Monitor student attendance, academic progress, and assessment outcomes, identify learning gaps, and implement appropriate improvement measures.
· Ensure the quality and relevance of study materials, question papers, mock tests, assignments, and assessments.
· Conduct periodic academic reviews and ensure timely implementation of action plans.
· Coordinate with students, parents, faculty, and Management on academic and programme-related matters.
· Drive initiatives to improve NEET/JEE results, admissions, student retention, and overall programme performance.
· Plan and oversee academic events, seminars, workshops, orientation programmes, parent meetings, and student counselling activities.
· Ensure effective utilization of academic resources, infrastructure, and learning materials.
· Prepare and present academic performance reports and recommendations to the Management.
· Ensure compliance with institutional policies, academic standards, and student discipline requirements.
· Perform other academic, administrative, and management responsibilities assigned by the Management.
Desired Candidate Profile:
· Master’s Degree in Science, Education, or a relevant discipline; B.Ed. / M.Ed. will be an added advantage.
· Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in NEET/JEE coaching, academic leadership, or competitive examination training; experience in reputed educational institutions will be an added advantage.
· Strong understanding of NEET and JEE examination patterns, syllabus, preparation strategies, and assessment, along with strong academic leadership, analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, organizational, time-management, and team-management skills.
· Proven ability to lead and mentor faculty teams and manage academic programmes effectively.
· Ability to monitor student performance and examination outcomes and implement strategies for continuous academic improvement.
· Excellent communication, interpersonal, coordination, and presentation skills.
· Proficiency in MS Office and digital learning/academic management tools, with familiarity with ERP/MIS and performance dashboards.
· High level of integrity, professionalism, accountability, and commitment to academic excellence.
· Proactive and student-focused, with the ability to motivate students, support faculty development, and drive programme improvement.
About the Institution:
PSG Public Schools is a co-educational high school located on the Avinashi Road, Peelamedu, Coimbatore, India. The school was founded in 2002. The senior school was inaugurated in 2009. It educates students from Pre-KG through to the 12th Grade. PSG teaches to the Central Board of Secondary Education.
