Job description:
Assistant Restaurant Manager
- Receive guests with Japanese greetings and record table reservations.
- Greet familiar customers by name and try to give their regular tables or tatami tables as per their request and introduce our new menu or new special item to them.
- Talk with guest while they are dining and request them to follow of our social media and post our dishes in Instagram or other social media.
- Monitor service times and procedures in the dining area.
- Observe being food served in order or not. Quick respond guest complaints and correct problems ASAP. Required guest feedback in every table. Ask guest about quality of service, food and drinks
- Listen and resolve guest complaints. Take authorize of complementary desserts or beverages to our regular guest. Secure and return items left by guests and make a note of lost and found book.
Develop and implement action plans to meet our financial goals and every moth follow the target of sale.
Training is must to all to improve the knowledge of food, beverage and standard operation procedure (SOP) Attend off-site workshops and training sessions.
Respond efficiently to guest questions and complaints Organize and supervise shifts Control costs and minimize waste Inspect bathroom to make sure everything is fully operational
Once you enter in restaurant premises ,make sure you have visited every corner of restaurant and everything is in place and operational Music, AC and electric need to fix the timing and try to control of electricity, wastage of water and keep the track on it. Also check our AMC services (AC, Computer, camera, Dytel software and pest control) need note of services done by them.
Handover in details to your colleague in your weekly off days or holidays properly and co-ordinate each other. Communicate with staffs and inform about upcoming events and brief them properly.
Standard operation and telephone etiquette need to follow every one given by management Do a final walk through, check that all the proper equipment are turned off in closing.
Look at the detailed sales report at the end of the day Need to track of online delivery payments as well as zomato pro and easy dinner (pay zapp), Google pay and Annalise the sale.
Make sure closing sale has been sent in group Trained to staff where they can do up sale or suggestive sale and plan incentive accordingly.
Managers need to specially take extra care of Reference guest by boss, VVIP guests or celebrities. Check the inventory to ensure that the kitchen and bar fully stocked for the next day and monthly physically inventory of our Asset.
All items of food and beverage in menu need to keep available if not then need to know about issues of purchase dept. Or others and solve it accordingly Maintain good relation with all staffs and coordination with kitchen team.
Managers need to know all our product details (menu) and about our management Need to do briefing timely.
Managers has to serve as the primary point of contact for any service issue. Managers need to report their seniors as per hierarchy. Japanese greetings are must for all. All the managers need to follow management rules and regulation in strictly basis.
