Job Summary:
We are looking for a technically skilled and target-oriented Retro Sales Engineer to develop HVAC retrofit business opportunities through direct sales and channel partner networks. The candidate will be responsible for identifying retrofit opportunities, conducting site visits, understanding customer requirements, proposing suitable HVAC solutions, and achieving sales growth through customers, dealers, contractors, and channel partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities for HVAC retrofit projects.
- Generate sales through direct customers as well as channel partners, dealers, distributors, and HVAC contractors.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with channel partners to expand business opportunities.
- Provide technical support, product information, and sales assistance to channel partners.
- Conduct site surveys and evaluate existing HVAC systems for retrofit requirements.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable energy-efficient HVAC solutions.
- Prepare technical proposals, BOQ, quotations, and presentations.
- Coordinate with design, engineering, and execution teams for project requirements.
- Generate leads through market visits, references, consultants, contractors, and partner networks.
- Manage sales pipeline, follow-ups, and convert opportunities into successful orders.
- Maintain customer and channel partner records with regular sales reporting.
- Achieve assigned sales targets and business growth objectives.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Electrical Engineering (B.E./B.Tech/Diploma Electrical) required.
- Experience in HVAC sales, retrofit projects, technical sales, or related field preferred.
- Experience handling channel partners, dealers, and contractor networks will be an advantage.
- Basic understanding of HVAC systems, electrical components, controls, ventilation, and cooling solutions.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and customer relationship management skills.
- Ability to understand technical requirements and provide solution-based selling.
- Good presentation and reporting skills.
- Willingness to travel for customer meetings and site visits.
Experience:
- 2–5 years of experience in HVAC / Electrical
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
