Role Overview
We are looking for a talented Frontend Game Engineer to help us build polished, immersive, and interactive learning experiences for children using HTML5 game frameworks. If you love creating game-like worlds that are both educational and engaging, this role is for you.
Responsibilities
- Build polished interactive lessons using Phaser or similar HTML5 game frameworks
- Create rich, world-like interactive scenes using layered 2D assets, environmental composition, animations, and seamless scene transitions to make lessons feel immersive and exploratory
- Integrate backend APIs, audio, voice, and AI services into gameplay
- Optimize for smooth performance across web and mobile platforms
- Collaborate with designers and AI developers to bring learning experiences to life
Requirements
- Strong JavaScript / TypeScript skills
- Hands-on experience with Phaser, PixiJS, or similar 2D game frameworks
- Experience integrating REST / WebSocket APIs and handling audio/media
- Good understanding of animations, asset management, and interactive UI
- Passion for creating engaging experiences for children is a big plus
