Job Summary:
We are looking for a compassionate and knowledgeable BAMS Doctor to provide high-quality Ayurvedic consultation, diagnosis, and treatment. The candidate will assess patients, develop personalized treatment plans, prescribe Ayurvedic medicines, and educate patients on diet, lifestyle, and preventive healthcare while ensuring excellent patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed patient consultations and clinical examinations.
- Diagnose diseases using Ayurvedic principles and modern clinical assessment.
- Prepare individualized treatment plans based on patient condition.
- Prescribe Ayurvedic medicines, therapies, and Panchakarma treatments where applicable.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as required.
- Manage OPD consultations efficiently.
- Handle follow-up consultations and maintain continuity of care.
Patient Counselling
- Educate patients on diet, lifestyle modifications, and preventive healthcare.
- Counsel patients regarding chronic disease management and wellness.
- Promote holistic health through Ayurveda principles.
Documentation
- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment history.
- Ensure timely documentation of consultations and prescriptions.
- Prepare clinical reports as required.
Coordination
- Work closely with Panchakarma therapists, nursing staff, dieticians, and other healthcare professionals.
- Coordinate with pharmacy for medicine availability.
- Participate in multidisciplinary patient care meetings.
Quality & Compliance
- Follow hospital SOPs, NABH guidelines (if applicable), and medical ethics.
- Maintain patient confidentiality.
- Ensure infection control and safety protocols are followed.
Health Promotion
- Participate in health camps, awareness programs, webinars, and community outreach activities.
- Support wellness programs and preventive healthcare initiatives.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Ayurvedic diagnosis and treatment.
- Excellent patient counselling and communication skills.
- Good clinical decision-making abilities.
- Knowledge of Panchakarma therapies.
- Basic computer skills and EMR/EHR documentation.
- Team player with compassionate patient care approach.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in managing chronic lifestyle disorders.
- Knowledge of integrative medicine.
- Ability to conduct online/teleconsultations.
- Experience in patient retention and follow-up care.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
