Bestination Holidays Pvt. Ltd. is a leading travel and tourism company specializing in domestic and international holiday packages. We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage our day-to-day financial operations, ensure statutory compliance, and support the company's financial growth.
Job Summary
The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, handling day-to-day accounting activities, preparing financial reports, managing GST and TDS compliance, and supporting management with financial analysis and budgeting.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain books of accounts and ensure accurate recording of financial transactions.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports.
- Reconcile bank statements, supplier accounts, and customer ledgers.
- Process employee salaries and maintain payroll records.
- Prepare and file GST returns, TDS returns, and other statutory compliances.
- Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.
- Prepare monthly Profit & Loss Statements and Balance Sheets.
- Monitor cash flow and prepare cash flow reports.
- Coordinate with auditors, banks, and government authorities during audits and assessments.
- Verify tour costing, supplier invoices, and customer receipts.
- Maintain proper documentation of financial records.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
- Support management in budgeting and financial planning.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com) – Mandatory.
- M.Com / MBA Finance / CA Inter (Preferred).
- Minimum 3–5 years of accounting experience.
- Experience in the Travel & Tourism industry will be an added advantage.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliance.
- Hands-on experience with Tally Prime (mandatory).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Advanced Excel preferred).
- Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in handling travel-related accounting, including:
- Vendor payments (airlines, hotels, transport suppliers)
- Tour costing and package profitability
- Customer advances and final settlements
- Credit control and outstanding follow-up
- Multi-branch accounting
Salary
₹30,000 – ₹40,000 per month (Based on experience and qualifications)
Office Timings
- Monday to Saturday: 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM
- Second Saturday: 9:30 AM – 2:00 PM
