We are seeking a highly skilled Product Owner with expertise in Oracle Simphony POS, Inventory Management, and Hospitality Technology Solutions to drive product strategy, roadmap execution, and digital transformation initiatives across restaurant and hospitality operations.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of restaurant inventory processes, cloud-based POS ecosystems, and Agile product delivery. You will partner with business stakeholders, operations teams, and technology teams to deliver scalable, high-impact solutions that optimize inventory accuracy, streamline operations, and improve profitability.
Key Responsibilities :
- Own the product vision, roadmap, and backlog for Oracle Simphony POS and inventory-related applications.
- Collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and IT teams to define product requirements and business priorities.
- Translate business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, and detailed functional requirements.
- Manage and prioritize product backlogs using Jira and/or Azure DevOps.
- Lead Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Drive enhancements across inventory processes, including:
- Ordering & Replenishment
- Receiving & Vendor Management
- Inventory Counts & Stock Adjustments
- Recipe & Menu Costing
- Waste & Variance Tracking
- Transfer Management
- Partner with technical teams on integrations between Oracle Simphony, Oracle Hospitality Materials Control, ERP, Procurement, Finance, and Reporting platforms.
- Ensure successful solution delivery through UAT planning, testing, and release management.
- Leverage inventory analytics and forecasting insights to optimize stock levels, reduce waste, and improve food cost performance.
- Establish governance frameworks and best practices for multi-location inventory operations.
- Monitor product KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications :
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Technology, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- 7–9 years of experience as a Product Owner, Functional Consultant, Business Analyst, or related role within Hospitality Technology.
- Proven hands-on experience with Oracle Simphony POS and Inventory Management solutions.
- Strong understanding of restaurant inventory lifecycle and operational workflows.
- Experience working with cloud-based POS platforms and enterprise integrations.
- Hands-on experience managing Agile backlogs using Jira or Azure DevOps.
- Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and/or SAFe methodologies.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable product solutions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Oracle Hospitality Materials Control (MC).
- Knowledge of multi-unit restaurant and hospitality inventory governance.
- Experience with inventory forecasting, demand planning, and inventory optimization strategies.
- Understanding of APIs, middleware, and system integration concepts.
- Experience supporting enterprise-scale restaurant, QSR, hotel, or hospitality environments.

- Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO)
- SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager Certification
- Oracle Hospitality Simphony Certification
- Oracle Hospitality Materials Control Certification
