Job Summary
The Maintenance Electrician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems and equipment within the hospital. The role ensures uninterrupted electrical services while maintaining safety standards and supporting patient care operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of hospital electrical systems and equipment.
* Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, switches, sockets, lighting systems, DB panels, and electrical circuits.
* Ensure uninterrupted power supply to critical hospital areas such as ICU, OT, Emergency, and wards.
* Monitor and maintain DG sets, UPS systems, and electrical backup systems.
* Attend electrical breakdowns promptly and minimize downtime.
* Conduct routine inspections to identify and resolve electrical faults.
* Maintain maintenance logs, service records, and electrical documentation.
* Follow electrical safety regulations and hospital policies at all times.
* Coordinate with external vendors during servicing and installation of electrical equipment.
* Assist in electrical installations, renovations, and infrastructure upgrades as required.
Required Skills
* Sound knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and troubleshooting.
* Familiarity with DG sets, UPS systems, LT panels, and hospital electrical infrastructure.
* Ability to read electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.
* Good problem-solving and communication skills.
* Ability to work in shifts and respond to emergency maintenance calls.
Preferred Candidate
* Minimum 1 year of hospital maintenance experience.
* Basic knowledge of electrical safety standards and preventive maintenance practices.
* Responsible, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a maintenance team.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹21,000.00 per month
