Senior Accounts Executive
Job Summary
The Senior Accounts Executive is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial records, statutory compliance, vendor and customer account reconciliation, and timely preparation of financial reports. The role requires strong accounting knowledge, attention to detail, and experience in ERP/accounting software.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate books of accounts and ensure all financial transactions are recorded correctly.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.
- Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions.
- Verify and process vendor invoices, employee reimbursements, and customer receipts.
- Perform bank reconciliations and reconcile ledger accounts.
- Prepare GST/VAT/TDS and other statutory filings as applicable.
- Assist in monthly and annual financial closing activities.
- Monitor cash flow, petty cash, and banking transactions.
- Coordinate with auditors during internal and statutory audits.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.
- Prepare MIS reports and provide financial analysis to management.
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Coordinate with stores, procurement, and operations teams regarding financial transactions.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information at all times.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com) or Finance.
- M.Com, MBA (Finance), CA Inter, CMA Inter, or equivalent qualification is preferred.
Experience
- 4–7 years of experience in Finance & Accounts.
- Experience in Retail, Supermarket, Hypermarket, FMCG, or Distribution industries is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with ERP software such as SAP, Tally Prime, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or Zoho Books.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Good understanding of GST/VAT, TDS, and statutory compliance.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, financial reports).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹19,000.00 per month
