IT Executive
Reports To: IT Manager / General Manager – CIF
Location: Chinmaya International Foundation (with travel to other CIF locations as required)
Working Hours: Flexible timing (9 hours per day)
Role Summary
The IT Executive will be responsible for providing day-to-day IT support, maintaining computer systems and network infrastructure, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring the smooth functioning of IT services across the organization. The role requires a proactive individual with good communication skills, a willingness to learn new technologies, and the flexibility to work across multiple locations when required.
Key ResponsibilitiesNetwork & System Support
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of LAN, Wi-Fi, internet connectivity, and networking devices.
- Monitor and troubleshoot network-related issues to ensure uninterrupted connectivity.
- Support firewall, router, switch, and VPN configurations under the guidance of the IT Manager.
Hardware & Software Support
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other IT peripherals.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and provide timely technical support to employees.
- Install and update operating systems, applications, antivirus software, and security patches.
User Support
- Provide first-level IT support to employees across departments.
- Configure email accounts, user access, and system permissions.
- Assist users with software installations, system setup, and technical troubleshooting.
IT Operations
- Maintain inventory of IT assets and peripherals.
- Assist in data backup, system maintenance, and preventive health checks.
- Support CCTV, biometric devices, UPS systems, and other IT infrastructure as required.
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain records of IT assets, support tickets, and system documentation.
- Follow organizational IT policies and security guidelines.
- Assist in implementing best practices for data security and system reliability.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Good knowledge of computer networking (preferred).
- Basic knowledge of IT hardware and software.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and continuously upgrade technical skills.
- Willingness to travel to different CIF locations as required.
- Willingness to relocate.
Preferred Qualification
- Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA A+, Network+, or equivalent will be an added advantage.
- Prior experience in IT support or networking is preferred but not mandatory.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
