1. End-to-End Payroll Management
- Execution: Process monthly/bi-weekly payroll for all employees, including salary, bonuses, commissions, and reimbursements.
- Data Integrity: Validate attendance, leaves, new hire inputs, and exit settlements (Full & Final).
- Discrepancy Resolution: Serve as the primary point of contact for employee queries regarding payslips, tax deductions, and benefits.
2. Statutory Compliance & Filings
- Tax Management: Calculate and remit TDS (Tax Deducted at Source), ensuring timely filing of quarterly returns (e.g., Form 24Q).
- Social Security: Manage monthly deposits and returns for Provident Fund (PF), ESI, and Professional Tax (PT).
- Labor Laws: Ensure compliance with the Payment of Wages Act, Minimum Wages Act, and the latest 2026 Labour Code updates.
- Garnishments: Process court-ordered deductions and levies accurately.
3. Auditing & Reporting
- Reconciliation: Perform monthly reconciliations between payroll reports and the General Ledger (GL).
- Audit Support: Lead internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation for labor inspections or financial year-end audits.
- Reporting: Generate monthly payroll cost reports, headcount analytics, and compliance dashboards for senior management.
4. System & Process Optimization
- HRIS Management: Maintain and update the payroll software (e.g., ADP, Workday, SAP, or Keka) to reflect changes in tax slabs or company policy.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to automate manual data entry and streamline the payroll workflow.
- Data Integrity: Validate attendance, leaves, new hire inputs, and exit settlements (Full & Final).
- Discrepancy Resolution: Serve as the primary point of contact for employee queries regarding payslips, tax deductions, and benefits.
