We are looking for a skilled and creative CDP Pastry to manage pastry production and ensure high-quality desserts, cakes, pastries, and bakery items. The candidate should have experience in commercial bakery or café operations and be able to maintain consistency, hygiene, and food safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and produce cakes, pastries, desserts, breads, and baked products.
- Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation.
- Monitor daily pastry production and inventory requirements.
- Maintain food safety, hygiene, and kitchen cleanliness standards.
- Assist in developing new pastry and dessert recipes.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of ingredients.
- Minimize wastage and control food costs.
- Train and guide junior pastry staff and helpers.
- Coordinate with the purchase and production teams for ingredient requirements.
Requirements
- Diploma or certification in Bakery & Pastry Arts is preferred.
- 2–5 years of experience in pastry production, bakery, café, or hotel operations.
- Knowledge of cakes, pastries, breads, desserts, and chocolate work.
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good team player with attention to detail.
