Job Summary
We are looking for a friendly and motivated Student Counselor to guide prospective students, provide information about courses and career opportunities, and assist them through the admission process. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication and counseling skills with a passion for helping students achieve their educational goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel students regarding courses, internships, and career opportunities.
- Handle walk-in, phone, WhatsApp, and online enquiries.
- Explain course details, fees, offers, and admission procedures.
- Follow up with prospective students and convert enquiries into admissions.
- Maintain student records and update lead status in Excel/CRM.
- Achieve monthly admission and counseling targets.
- Coordinate with the marketing and telecalling teams.
- Assist students with documentation and the enrollment process.
- Build strong relationships with students and parents.
- Prepare daily and weekly counseling reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.
- 1–2 years of experience in Student Counseling, Academic Counseling, Admissions, Sales, or Customer Relationship Management.
- Freshers with excellent communication skills may also apply.
Required Skills
- Excellent communication skills in Tamil (English is an added advantage).
- Strong counselling and interpersonal skills.
- Good convincing and negotiation abilities.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word).
- Customer-focused and target-oriented approach.
- Ability to build rapport with students and parents.
Salary
₹15,000 – ₹20,000 per month (Based on experience and performance)
