Key Responsibilities
- Procurement Activities
- Receive and review purchase requisitions from sites and departments.
- Obtain quotations from approved vendors and conduct comparative analysis.
- Negotiate prices, delivery schedules, payment terms, and commercial conditions.
- Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs) as per company procedures.
- Vendor Management
- Identify and develop new vendors for construction materials, equipment, and services.
- Maintain vendor database and performance records.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Material Planning & Coordination
- Coordinate with project sites, stores, and technical teams regarding material requirements.
- Track order status and follow up for timely dispatch and delivery.
- Resolve supply-related issues and shortages.
- Cost Control
- Ensure procurement at competitive rates without compromising quality.
- Prepare comparison statements and cost-saving reports.
- Monitor market trends and price fluctuations.
- Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain records of quotations, comparisons, POs, delivery challans, and invoices.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies.
- Coordinate with accounts for invoice verification and payment processing.
- MIS & Reporting
- Prepare procurement reports, pending order status, and vendor performance reports.
- Update procurement data in ERP/software systems.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate / Diploma in Engineering, Commerce, Supply Chain, or related field.
- 3–8 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the construction industry.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of construction materials (steel, cement, ready-mix concrete, chemicals, electrical, plumbing, safety items, etc.).
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and procurement software.
- Good communication and coordination abilities.
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple requirements.

- Accuracy of purchase documentation and records.
Pay: From ₹30,000.00 per month
