Job Summary
A Shop Assistant is responsible for providing excellent customer service, assisting shoppers with product selection, handling sales transactions, and ensuring the store remains clean, organized, and well-stocked.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Answer customer questions about products, prices, and promotions.
- Help customers locate items and make purchasing decisions.
- Operate cash registers and process payments.
- Receive, unpack, and arrange merchandise on shelves.
- Monitor inventory levels and report stock shortages.
- Maintain store cleanliness and attractive product displays.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues appropriately.
- Support promotional activities and sales campaigns.
- Follow store policies and safety procedures.
