Business Development Executive
Location: Jalgaon, Maharashtra
Employment Type: Full-Time | Permanent
Compensation: ₹30,000 – ₹50,000 per month (In-Hand) + Performance-Based Incentives
Position Overview
We are looking for an ambitious and performance-oriented Business Development Executive to support business expansion and revenue growth within the dairy and food processing sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, strengthening customer relationships, expanding dealer networks, and driving sales across the assigned territory.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategies to identify and secure new business opportunities within the designated market.
- Promote dairy processing machinery, equipment, and associated solutions to prospective customers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with dairy plants, milk unions, private dairies, food processing companies, and key industry stakeholders.
- Represent the organization professionally during client interactions, business meetings, exhibitions, and industry events.
- Establish, expand, and manage dealer, distributor, and channel partner networks to support business growth.
- Conduct product demonstrations, technical presentations, and consultative sales discussions with customers.
- Manage the complete sales process, including lead generation, prospecting, proposal development, negotiation, and closure.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable products and solutions based on operational needs.
- Consistently achieve assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual sales objectives.
- Maintain strong engagement with existing customers to generate repeat business opportunities and referrals.
- Monitor market developments, competitor activities, and customer trends to identify growth opportunities.
- Prepare sales forecasts, performance reports, and territory updates on a regular basis.
- Work closely with internal departments to ensure successful project execution and high levels of customer satisfaction.
Educational Qualification
Preferred Qualification:
- B.E. / B.Tech in Dairy Technology, Food Technology, Agricultural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
OR
- Relevant hands-on experience in dairy equipment, dairy operations, industrial equipment sales, food processing equipment, or related industries.
Experience Requirements
Candidates should possess 1 to 5 years of experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Business Development
- B2B Sales
- Technical Sales
- Industrial Equipment Sales
- Dairy Equipment Sales
- Food Processing Equipment Sales
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong command of both English and Hindi.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
- Proven business development and sales capabilities.
- Strong lead generation, prospecting, and client acquisition skills.
- Ability to build long-term relationships with customers and business partners.
- Experience in dealer development, channel sales, or distributor management will be an added advantage.
- Self-driven, target-focused, and committed to achieving results.
- Capable of independently managing territory responsibilities and sales activities.
- Willingness to travel extensively across the assigned region.
