Job Summary
The QA Manager is responsible for managing the overall quality assurance and quality control activities within the organization. The role ensures that all products, fabrication processes, and project executions comply with company standards, client specifications, and applicable quality regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement QA/QC procedures and quality standards.
- Monitor fabrication, welding, painting, and dispatch quality.
- Lead inspections for raw materials, in-process production, and finished goods.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, and third-party inspection agencies.
- Review quality reports, NCRs, and corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
- Manage QA/QC documentation and audit records.
- Conduct internal quality audits and process improvements.
- Train production and QA teams on quality standards and procedures.
- Monitor calibration of inspection and measuring instruments.
- Coordinate with design, production, projects, and procurement departments.
- Ensure timely closure of quality issues and customer complaints.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of QA/QC systems and procedures.
- Expertise in fabrication and PEB industry standards.
- Knowledge of welding inspections and quality testing methods.

Qualification
- B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
- QA/QC certifications preferred.
Experience
- 5–10 years of experience in QA/QC within PEB, steel structure, fabrication, or manufacturing industry.
- Minimum 2–3 years in a managerial role preferred.
Software Knowledge
- MS Office
- AutoCAD
- ERP/Quality Management Systems
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Reduction in rejection and rework percentage.
- Compliance with quality standards.
- Client inspection approval rate.
- Timely closure of NCRs and corrective actions.
- Quality audit performance.
- Documentation accuracy and compliance.
Working Conditions
- Factory and project site coordination.
- Regular inspections and interdepartmental meetings
Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹900,000.00 per year
