Artium Academy is looking for a passionate and skilled Carnatic Music Teacher – Popular Film Music Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Carnatic and South Indian vocal music, along with the ability to teach popular Tamil film songs across different age groups and skill levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging Carnatic vocal and popular film music classes.
- Teach students from beginner to advanced levels.
- Train learners in vocal techniques, Shruti, Swara, Tala, and Carnatic music fundamentals.
- Teach popular Tamil film songs, devotional songs, and other South Indian vocal styles.
- Adapt teaching methods according to each learner's ability and musical goals.
- Track learner progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Prepare students for performances and assessments.
- Create a positive, engaging, and encouraging learning environment.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Carnatic and South Indian vocal music.
- Good knowledge of popular Tamil film music and songs.
- Strong vocal skills with good pitch and rhythm.
- Excellent communication and teaching skills.
- Relevant music qualifications or certifications preferred.
- Teaching and performance experience will be an added advantage.
