Job Title: Marketing Head – Karur Products Business
Location: Karur
Age: Below 45 years
Reporting To: Business Head / Managing Director
Job Purpose:
To lead and expand the Karur products business by developing strong domestic and export marketing strategies, driving customer acquisition, strengthening market presence, and achieving sustainable revenue growth in home textile and made-up products.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Business Development & Market Expansion:
- Develop and execute marketing strategies for Karur home textile products
- Identify new domestic and international business opportunities
- Expand customer base across retailers, importers, wholesalers, and institutional buyers
- Drive revenue growth and market penetration in target regions
2. Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers
- Handle key customer accounts and strategic business negotiations
- Understand customer requirements and coordinate product developments accordingly
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business
3. Export Marketing & Sales:
- Manage export marketing activities for home textile products
- Coordinate with overseas buyers and sourcing agents
- Monitor international market trends, pricing, and competitor activities
- Participate in trade fairs, exhibitions, and buyer meetings to promote business growth
4. Product Development Coordination:
- Work closely with design, sampling, merchandising, and production teams
- Support development of market-driven products and collections
- Ensure timely execution of customer developments and approvals
- Align product offerings with current market trends and customer expectations
5. Pricing & Commercial Management:
- Coordinate with costing and finance teams for product pricing
- Ensure competitive and profitable pricing strategies
- Negotiate commercial terms, payment conditions, and order finalization
- Monitor order profitability and contribution margins
6. Order Execution & Coordination:
- Ensure smooth coordination between marketing, merchandising, production, and dispatch teams
- Track order status and ensure timely delivery commitments
- Resolve customer concerns related to quality, delivery, and service
- Support efficient order management and execution processes
7. Market Intelligence & Strategic Planning:
- Analyse market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities
- Prepare sales forecasts and business development plans
- Identify emerging opportunities in home textile segments
- Provide strategic inputs for business growth and diversification
8. Team Leadership & Performance Management:
- Lead and guide the marketing team towards business targets
- Set performance goals and monitor team productivity
- Develop a strong customer-focused and result-oriented culture
