Job Summary
Semolina Kitchens is looking for a passionate Demi Chef de Partie (DCDP) – Indian Cuisine to support daily kitchen operations at our premium Airport Lounge. The successful candidate will assist in preparing high-quality Indian dishes while ensuring consistency, food safety, and timely service.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare authentic Indian dishes under the guidance of senior chefs.
- Support daily operations of the assigned kitchen section.
- Ensure proper mise en place and timely food preparation.
- Maintain quality, taste, and presentation standards.
- Assist with buffet setup and replenishment during service.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and HACCP guidelines.
- Ensure proper storage, stock rotation (FIFO), and wastage control.
- Coordinate effectively with kitchen team members during service.
- Assist in training Commis Chefs when required.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or Degree in Hotel Management or Culinary Arts.
- 2–4 years of experience in Indian cuisine within hotels, airport lounges, airline catering, or premium hospitality.
- Knowledge of Indian curry, tandoor, and regional cuisine.
- Familiarity with buffet operations and high-volume kitchens.
- Good understanding of food hygiene and safety standards.
- Willingness to work rotational shifts, including nights.
