Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Reporting & Core Accounting
- Finalization of Books: Independently own monthly, quarterly, and annual closing; prepare accurate Balance Sheets, P&L statements, and Cash Flow summaries.
- GL Management: Oversee all general ledger activities, journal entries, provisions, depreciation, and accruals.
- Budgeting: Conduct monthly variance analyses comparing actual spend against corporate budgets.
2. Working Capital & Cash Flow Management
- Accounts Receivable (AR): Manage credit control, monitor aging reports, and drive timely collections.
- Accounts Payable (AP): Supervise the vendor payment cycle, enforce 3-way matching, and manage reconciliations.
- Liquidity: Optimize daily cash inflows and outflows to maintain healthy working capital.
3. Taxation & Statutory Compliance
- Tax Compliance: Compute, file, and reconcile GST (monthly/annual) and TDS/TCS accurately.
- Payroll Compliance: Verify statutory deductions including PF, ESI, and Professional Tax (PT).
- Audit Ownership: Lead interactions with external auditors and tax authorities for seamless, clean audits.
4. Team Leadership & Process Control
- Team Management: Supervise and mentor junior accounts executives to ensure error-free data entry.
- Process Optimization: Review and improve internal controls, workflows, and ERP processes to eliminate bottlenecks.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: B.Com, M.Com, MBA Finance, or Inter-CA / Inter-CMA.
- Experience: 6–10 years in corporate accounting, with 3+ years specifically in finalization and taxation.
- Software & Tools: Hands-on experience with modern ERPs (Tally Prime, SAP, Oracle, or Zoho Books) and advanced MS Excel (pivots, VLOOKUPs, data synthesis).
- Domain Knowledge: In-depth understanding of local accounting standards, current GST regimes, and TDS slabs.
Pay: ₹480,000.00 - ₹720,000.00 per year
