Position Description:
We are looking for a Senior SAP Sustainability Solution Architect / Subject Matter Expert (SME) / Senior Consultant with 10–15 years of relevant SAP ERP and Sustainability implementation experience.
The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in SAP Responsible Design and Production (RDP), SAP S/4HANA integration, and sustainability solutions, with the ability to understand business pain points, design effective as-is/to-be processes, and deliver end-to-end IT solutions.
The key requirement is hands-on experience designing and delivering S/4HANA integration with SAP RDP, preferably with SAP Green Token, including high-volume data replication, system-to-system integration, configuration, and downstream logistics/order/billing integration
Responsibilities:
- Understand business requirements, pain points, and current as-is processes and design effective to-be business processes.
- Design and deliver end-to-end SAP Sustainability solutions aligned with business process requirements.
- Lead workshops with business stakeholders, Enterprise/IT Architects, process owners, and other stakeholders.
- Act as the SAP Sustainability SME / Solution Architect for solution design and implementation.
- Design, configure, and integrate SAP Responsible Design and Production (RDP) for discrete industries.
- Configure and integrate SAP RDP with SAP S/4HANA.
- Design efficient approaches for high-volume product data replication from S/4HANA to RDP.
- Design and implement RDP capabilities for Plastic Tax and Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) across multiple geographies.
- Design downstream integrations with S/4HANA Logistics, Order Management, and Billing.
- Ensure SAP solutions support applicable legal and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Design system-to-system integration and data replication rather than relying on manual file/template uploads.
- Clearly define and document the complete data flow: S/4HANA source data Integration/Replication RDP / Green Token.
- Work closely with integration, architecture, development, and business teams to ensure successful end-to-end delivery.
Must-Have Skills
SAP RDP & S/4HANA
- 10–15 years of relevant SAP ERP / Sustainability experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP Responsible Design and Production (RDP).
- Strong experience integrating SAP S/4HANA with SAP RDP.
- Strong understanding of S/4HANA data objects required by RDP.
- Experience designing and implementing data extraction and replication from S/4HANA to RDP.
- Hands-on experience with system-to-system integration and data replication.
- Ability to explain the complete S/4HANA Integration/Replication RDP data flow.
- Experience with high-volume product/master data replication.
- Strong Solution Architect / SME capability.
Integration & Architecture
- Experience with SAP BTP, APIs, integration services, or equivalent SAP integration technologies.
- Strong understanding of SAP integration architecture and interfaces.
- Experience integrating RDP with S/4HANA Logistics, Order Management, and Billing.
- Experience designing scalable and efficient integration/data-replication solutions.
- Ability to translate business requirements into end-to-end technical/functional solution architecture.
Sustainability
- Experience configuring RDP for Plastic Tax and EPR requirements.
- Understanding of sustainability-related business processes and regulatory requirements.
- Experience working across multiple countries/geographies and their reporting requirements.
