Job Summary
The Physiotherapist is responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with musculoskeletal, neurological, and movement-related conditions. The role focuses on developing personalized treatment plans to restore function, reduce pain, prevent injury, and promote long-term wellness.
Key Responsibilities
1. Patient Assessment & Treatment
- Conduct comprehensive physical assessments and clinical evaluations
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient goals and clinical findings
- Deliver evidence-based treatments including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and rehabilitation techniques
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
2. Rehabilitation & Wellness Programs
- Design rehabilitation programs for injury recovery and post-surgical patients
- Provide injury prevention strategies and ergonomic advice
- Support fitness and wellness programs in collaboration with trainers and other practitioners
3. Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment notes
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and professional standards
- Follow centre policies and clinical protocols
4. Client Education & Engagement
- Educate patients on home exercises and lifestyle modifications
- Promote long-term wellness and preventative care
- Encourage membership or package programs when appropriate
5. Collaboration
- Work closely with massage therapists, fitness trainers, nutritionists, and other practitioners
- Participate in case discussions and multidisciplinary meetings
Qualifications & RequirementsRequired
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy
- Valid professional license/registration to practice
- Minimum 1–3 years clinical experience (new graduates may be considered)
- Strong knowledge of musculoskeletal and rehabilitation techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred
- Experience in sports rehabilitation, orthopedics, or chronic pain management
- Dry needling or manual therapy certification
- Experience in a wellness or multidisciplinary setting
