About the Role
We are looking for a high-impact **Vice President – EdTech Sales** to lead and scale our national sales organization. This is a strategic leadership role for someone who has built and managed large sales teams, consistently delivered high revenue numbers, and possesses deep expertise in the EdTech ecosystem.
As VP – EdTech Sales, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, building high-performing sales teams, optimizing sales processes, and creating scalable strategies that accelerate business expansion across India.
Key Responsibilities
* Own the company's overall sales strategy and revenue growth.
* Build, lead, and mentor large Inside Sales and Business Development teams.
* Drive monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
* Design scalable sales processes, playbooks, and performance frameworks.
* Lead hiring, onboarding, coaching, and development of Sales Managers and Team Leaders.
* Monitor conversion funnels, sales metrics, and pipeline health using CRM.
* Develop forecasting models and present business reviews to leadership.
* Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Operations to improve customer acquisition and retention.
* Identify new market opportunities, partnerships, and expansion strategies.
* Improve sales productivity through automation, training, and process optimization.
* Establish a culture of accountability, ownership, and high performance.
* Represent the organisation at industry events, conferences, and strategic client meetings.
Desired Candidate Profile
* 10–15+ years of experience in Sales, with significant leadership experience in the EdTech industry.
* Proven experience managing revenue portfolios of ₹100+ Crore annually.
* Strong track record of leading teams of 100+ sales professionals.
* Expertise in Inside Sales, B2C Sales, Counselling Sales, and Revenue Operations.
* Demonstrated success in building and scaling high-performing sales organizations.
* Strong analytical mindset with experience using CRM and sales analytics.
* Excellent leadership, negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
Preferred Qualifications
* MBA in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
* Experience with high-growth startups or unicorn-scale EdTech companies.
* Hands-on experience in sales forecasting, budgeting, and GTM strategy.
* Strong understanding of customer lifecycle management and revenue optimisation.
