Role:
CAE Strength/NVH analysis for Transmission system
Responsibility:
Ø Preparing CAD assembly of Powertrain components as per simulation Requirements.
Ø Performing strength and NVH simulation of Powertrain Sub-assemblies in MSC NASTRAN, NX SIMULATION.
Ø Validating new design proposals through Motion Simulation and providing design improvement and countermeasure proposals.
Ø Interacting with design teams to understand CAE requirements.
Ø Interacting with testing teams to achieve CAE-test correlation.
Ø NEW CAE methodology developments for improving efficiency and accuracy.
Ø Performing Simulation activities for testing/market issues and VAVE projects.
Should be able to perform post processing, result analysis, discussion with designers and detailed report preparation.
Technical Competencies:
Ø Fundamental knowledge of automotive transmission components, assembly, and it’s working.
Ø Ability to perform virtual validation as per the physical testing conditions and suggest design improvements for VAVE/countermeasures.
Ø Understanding and knowledge about finite element strength and NVH analysis.
Ø Hands on experience on using simulation software (Altair HYERWORKS, MSC NASTRAN, MARC and NX Simulation)
Ø Knowledge about the durability and NVH testing procedures.
Ø Problem solving and data interpretation skills are required.
Knowledge of Advance Excel for Macro preparation is preferred.
Educational Qualification:
Mechanical Engineering.
60% or more throughout education
