Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter responsible for assembly, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems and equipment used in industrial and subsea applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, GA drawings, and P&ID diagrams
- Assembly and fitting of mechanical components such as:
- Valves, regulators, pipelines, panels
- Pressure vessels / chambers
- Perform alignment, drilling, tapping, and fitting work
- Installation and commissioning of equipment at site
- Carry out maintenance and repair of mechanical systems
- Ensure proper use of tools and measuring instruments
- Conduct pressure testing and leak testing (preferred)
- Maintain quality standards as per project requirements (IRS / client specs)
- Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements
Requirements:
- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical or relevant field
- 2–5 years of experience in mechanical fitting / fabrication
- Experience in gas systems / pressure systems preferred
- Ability to read technical drawings is mandatory
- Willingness to travel for site work
Pay: ₹9,013.50 - ₹25,000.00 per month
