Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Machine Shop Supervisor to oversee daily machine shop operations, production activities, manpower, quality, and productivity. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment and the ability to effectively manage shop-floor operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage day-to-day machine shop operations.
- Plan and monitor production schedules to achieve targets.
- Manage machine operators, setters, and shop-floor manpower.
- Ensure proper machine utilization and productivity.
- Monitor quality standards and minimize rejection/rework.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and other departments.
- Ensure adherence to safety procedures and 5S practices.
- Identify production issues and take corrective actions.
- Monitor machine downtime and support preventive maintenance activities.
- Prepare and maintain production-related reports.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing / engineering industry.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong experience in machine shop / production operations.
- Good knowledge of machining processes and shop-floor activities.
- Strong manpower handling and team-management skills.
- Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a production-oriented environment.
- Immediate joiners are preferred.

We are looking for someone who is hands-on, responsible, target-oriented, and capable of independently managing machine shop operations and manpower.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
