Job Title: Occupational Therapist

Job Summary
Light & Life Speech & Language Therapy Clinic is seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary rehabilitation team. The ideal candidate will assess, plan, and provide individualized occupational therapy services for children with developmental, sensory, motor, behavioral, and functional challenges. The therapist will work collaboratively with speech-language pathologists, psychologists, special educators, behavioral therapists, and families to help clients achieve greater independence and improve their quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments.
- Develop individualized therapy goals and intervention plans.
- Provide evidence-based occupational therapy sessions.
- Address sensory processing, fine motor, gross motor, visual-motor integration, self-care, handwriting, feeding, and activities of daily living (ADL) skills.
- Implement sensory integration and play-based intervention techniques where appropriate.
- Monitor client progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
- Educate and counsel parents/caregivers regarding home programs and carryover strategies.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation, assessment reports, and progress notes.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team for holistic intervention planning.
- Participate in case discussions, parent meetings, workshops, and clinic activities.
- Ensure a safe, child-friendly, and therapeutic environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy (BOT/MOT).
- Valid registration with the relevant professional council.
- Experience working with pediatric populations is preferred.
- Freshers with strong clinical knowledge and a passion for pediatric rehabilitation are encouraged to apply.
