Position: Accountant

Company Overview
We are a professionally managed interior designing, turnkey contracting, and modular furniture manufacturing company handling residential, commercial, hospitality, and corporate projects. We are looking for an experienced and reliable Accountant who can independently manage accounts, taxation, compliance, and financial documentation.
Key ResponsibilitiesAccounts & Finance
- Maintain day-to-day accounting entries in Tally / ERP software.
- Handle Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable.
- Prepare vouchers, invoices, debit notes, credit notes, and purchase entries.
- Perform bank reconciliation and cash flow management.
- Maintain project-wise costing and expense tracking.
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and clients regarding payments and outstanding balances.
- Maintain proper accounting records and documentation.
GST Compliance
- Preparation and filing of:
- GST Returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, Annual Returns, etc.)
- GST reconciliation and input tax credit verification.
- Knowledge of GST billing, e-invoicing, and e-way bills.
- Handling GST notices and departmental compliance if required.
TDS & Taxation
- Deduction and deposit of TDS.
- Filing of TDS Returns.
- Preparation and issuance of TDS certificates.
- Knowledge of income tax provisions applicable to companies, firms, contractors, and professionals.
Income Tax & ROC
- Basic knowledge of:
- ITR Filing
- Tax audits
- Balance Sheet finalization
- Coordination with CA for statutory compliance
- Understanding of company and partnership firm compliances.
Payroll & Administration
- Salary preparation and payroll management.
- PF, ESIC, and professional tax compliance (preferred).
- Attendance and labour payment coordination.
MIS & Reporting
- Preparation of:
- Monthly MIS Reports
- Profit & Loss Statements
- Expense Reports
- Outstanding Statements
- Budget vs Actual Reports
- Ability to assist management with financial planning and costing.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of:
- GST
- TDS
- ITR Filing
- GST Return Filing
- Accounting & Bookkeeping
- Proficiency in:
- Tally Prime
- MS Excel
- MS Office
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Experience in interior, construction, or project-based accounting will be preferred.
Qualification
- B.Com / M.Com preferred.
- Additional certification in taxation or accounting will be an advantage.

- Strong practical knowledge of taxation and compliance.
- Ability to manage multiple projects/accounts simultaneously.
- Capable of handling confidential financial information professionally.
