We are looking for a detail oriented Pricing Executive to support our pricing strategies and ensure our competitive edge in the logistics market.
Key Responsibilities
1. Quotation Preparation
- Create accurate and competitive pricing quotations for clients based on their specific requirements.
- Assist the sales team in preparing bids, RFQs, and tenders.
2. Vendor and Carrier Coordination
- Collaborate with carriers, shipping lines, and vendors to negotiate competitive rates.
- Maintain and update rate sheets regularly to ensure accurate data is readily available.
3. Market Analysis
- Analyze industry trends and competitor pricing to ensure competitive positioning.
- Monitor fluctuations in freight costs, surcharges, and other market changes.
4. Cost Management:
- Calculate and analyze operational costs to ensure profitability in pricing strategies.
- Identify opportunities for cost optimization without compromising service quality.
5. Data Maintenance and Reporting:
- Maintain an up-to-date database of rates, tariffs, and pricing agreements.
- Generate regular pricing performance reports for management review.
6. Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with sales, operations, and customer service teams to provide seamless support in pricing-related queries.
- Act as a key point of contact for pricing inquiries and escalations.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a pricing role within the logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or related fields preferred.
- Strong knowledge of freight forwarding processes, transportation costs, and trade terms.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and pricing or CRM software.
- Excellent numerical, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Good communication and negotiation abilities.
Pay: Up to ₹25,000.00 per month
