Position: Junior Account Executive
Location: Dhulagarh, West Bengal
Working Hours: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹18,000 per month
Experience Required: 5 Years
About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Junior Account Executive to manage day-to-day accounting and compliance activities. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in GST, TDS, bookkeeping, and E-Way Bill generation, along with a strong understanding of accounting principles and statutory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate books of accounts and daily bookkeeping records.
- Prepare and file GST returns and ensure GST compliance.
- Calculate, deduct, and reconcile TDS as per applicable regulations.
- Generate and manage E-Way Bills for dispatch and logistics operations.
- Record and reconcile sales, purchases, receipts, and payments.
- Prepare bank reconciliations and vendor/customer ledger reconciliations.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure proper maintenance of accounting documents and records.
- Support management with financial reports and MIS as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or relevant field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting and taxation.
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, bookkeeping, and E-Way Bill generation.
- Proficiency in Tally, MS Excel, and accounting software.
- Good analytical and reconciliation skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in manufacturing, trading, or logistics industries.
- Knowledge of GST portal and income tax compliance procedures.
- Familiarity with ERP systems.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
