About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Civil CADD Trainer to join our team at CADD Centre Purasawalkam. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of civil engineering concepts, construction drawings, and hands-on expertise in industry-standard CAD and BIM software. The role involves training engineering students and professionals while supporting project-based learning and industry readiness.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver classroom and practical training on Civil CAD and BIM software.
- Train students on:
- AutoCAD Civil
- AutoCAD
- Revit Architecture
- Revit Structure
- STAAD.Pro
- ETABS
- SketchUp
- Primavera P6
- Quantity Surveying & Estimation
- Building Information Modeling (BIM)
- Prepare training materials, assignments, assessments, and project work.
- Mentor students and guide them on industry standards and best practices.
- Conduct workshops, seminars, and technical demonstrations.
- Support students in project execution and placement preparation.
- Assist in curriculum enhancement based on current industry requirements.
- Participate in admission counseling and student engagement activities.
- Support civil drafting, modeling, and project-related assignments as required.
Required Qualifications
- B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- 1–5 years of experience in Civil Design, Drafting, BIM Modeling, or Technical Training.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and at least one BIM or structural analysis software (Revit/STAAD.Pro/ETABS).
- Good understanding of construction drawings, structural concepts, estimation, and project planning.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Passion for teaching and mentoring students.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in training engineering students or working professionals.
- Knowledge of BIM workflows, Quantity Surveying, Estimation, and Project Management.
- Experience in residential, commercial, or infrastructure projects.
- Familiarity with Indian construction standards and codes.
- Placement guidance and interview preparation skills.
