The Branch Head supports the Branch in managing daily branch operations, achieving business targets, ensuring compliance, and delivering excellent customer service. The role includes team supervision, operational control, and business development support.
Key Responsibilities1. Branch Operations
- Assist in overseeing day-to-day branch operations.
- Ensure smooth functioning of all branch activities.
- Monitor cash handling and transaction accuracy.
- Maintain proper documentation and records.
2. Business Development
- Support achievement of branch business targets.
- Promote financial products and services.
- Identify new business opportunities and customer leads.
- Build and maintain customer relationships.
3. Team Management
- Supervise and guide branch staff.
- Monitor employee performance and productivity.
- Assist in training and motivating team members.
- Ensure discipline and adherence to company policies.
4. Customer Service
- Handle customer queries and complaints effectively.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Maintain service quality standards.
5. Compliance & Risk Control
- Ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory guidelines.
- Monitor KYC and documentation compliance.
- Support audit requirements and risk control measures.
Key Responsibilities
Business Growth & Targets: Drive the acquisition, sales, and cross-selling of financial products (e.g., gold loans, SME loans, microfinance, and insurance).
Operations & Administration: Monitor day-to-day transactions, approve system entries, authenticate registers, and manage cash flow and fund remittances.
Compliance & Audits: Ensure the branch adheres to RBI and company guidelines, handle statutory license renewals, and clear internal/external audit queries.
Customer Service & Collections: Address escalated customer grievances, monitor collection pipelines, and assist in resolving pending repayments.
Team Leadership: Conduct daily morning meetings, delegate tasks, and provide coaching to sales and operational staff.
Eligibility Criteria
- Education: Graduate or Postgraduate in Commerce, Business Administration, or Finance.
- Experience: Typically, 1 to 5 years in branch operations, lending, or financial services support.
- Key Skills: Proficiency in financial analysis, team handling, and a strong understanding of lending processes.
