Key Responsibilities:
Act as the primary liaison between shipyard, design company, and client for all electrical-related
matters during construction
- Review electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documents to ensure compliance with
design standards, class requirements, and client specifications
- Supervise electrical installation activities including power distribution, lighting, automation, and
safety systems
- Conduct inspections and audits of electrical works to ensure adherence to approved procedures
and quality benchmarks
- Ensure electrical systems meet IMO, class society, and statutory regulations applicable to floating
dry docks
- Identify, report, and resolve discrepancies or technical issues between design intent and shipyard
execution
- Monitor construction schedules, track electrical milestones, and report progress to stakeholders
- Oversee pre-commissioning and commissioning of electrical systems, including FAT and SAT
testing
- Maintain records of electrical design changes, approvals, test reports, and as-built
documentation for handover
- Ensure safe working practices during electrical installation and testing, coordinating with
shipyard HSE teams
Desired Profile -
1.) 2-3 yrs exp in Shipyards (Production)
2.) BE/B Tech in Electrical
