Job description
We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join our team for a residential building project. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing the construction of a high-quality residential building, ensuring compliance with safety standards, budget, and timeline.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review design plans, specifications, and drawings for the residential building project
- Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and compliance with plans and specifications
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met
- Manage project budget, timeline, and resources
- Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues
- Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Coordinate with local authorities for necessary approvals and permits
- Prepare and submit project reports and documentation
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Minimum 8 to 11 years of experience in residential building construction
- Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit)
- Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
