Job Title: Team Lead – Last Mile Logistics
Location: Perumbavoor, Ernakulam
Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive and result-oriented Team Lead to manage last-mile logistics operations, ensuring timely deliveries, efficient rider management, and smooth day-to-day station activities. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership, operational, and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage delivery associates/riders to ensure daily delivery targets are achieved.
- Monitor attendance, productivity, and performance of the delivery team.
- Coordinate route planning and optimize delivery operations.
- Ensure timely dispatch and delivery of shipments as per SLA requirements.
- Handle rider onboarding, training, and performance management.
- Resolve operational issues, customer escalations, and delivery exceptions.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, returns, and operational reports.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety guidelines, and operational procedures.
- Collaborate with station managers and other stakeholders to improve operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Graduate in any discipline (preferred).
- 1–3 years of experience in logistics, e-commerce, courier, or last-mile delivery operations.
- Experience in team handling and workforce management.
- Good communication and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and operational reporting.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of last-mile delivery processes and logistics KPIs.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in rider/vendor management.
