Job Summary:
Shikarpura School is seeking a qualified and passionate Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) – English to join our academic team. The ideal candidate should possess strong subject knowledge, excellent communication skills and the ability to create an engaging learning environment for senior secondary students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach English to senior secondary classes in accordance with the prescribed curriculum.
- Prepare lesson plans, assignments, tests, and assessments.
- Develop students' reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension skills.
- Monitor and evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain classroom discipline and foster a positive learning atmosphere.
- Participate in academic planning, parent-teacher meetings, and school activities.
- Support students in achieving academic excellence and language proficiency.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Master's degree in English or a related field.
- B.Ed. qualification preferred.
- Prior teaching experience as a PGT English teacher is an advantage.
- Strong command of English language and literature.
- Excellent classroom management and interpersonal skills.
Required Skills:
- Fluent spoken and written English is mandatory.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to engage and motivate students.
- Proficiency in modern teaching methodologies and educational technology.
