Core Responsibilities
- Curriculum Delivery: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging daily physical education classes aligned with the school's curriculum.
- Sports Coaching: Train students in various track-and-field events, indoor/outdoor sports (e.g., basketball, football, athletics), and basic gymnastics.
- Fitness Assessments: Regularly monitor and evaluate students' physical development, tracking their endurance, agility, and motor skills.
- Event Management: Spearhead, organize, and manage major school sporting events, including the Annual Sports Day, inter-house tournaments, and friendly matches.
- Safety & Discipline: Maintain a safe environment, enforce sportsmanship rules, ensure proper warm-up routines, and manage student behavior during physical activities.
- Inclusive Participation: Adapt exercises and activities to ensure inclusivity, accommodating students of varying physical abilities and skill levels.
- Equipment Upkeep: Oversee the inventory, safe storage, and maintenance of all sports and physical training equipment.
- Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Physical Education (B.P.Ed) or a Master's degree in Physical Education (M.P.Ed).
- Certifications: Certifications in First Aid, CPR, or specific sports coaching (e.g., NIS, SAI) are highly preferred.
- Experience: 2 to 5 years of relevant experience teaching physical education in a recognized school.
- Skills:
- Strong communication and motivational skills to engage students.
- Ability to work effectively with students ranging from primary classes to higher secondary.
- Proficiency in managing large student groups and ensuring crowd control
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
