Job Summary
An Arc Welder/Fitter is responsible for fitting, fabricating, assembling, and welding metal components and structures using arc welding processes such as SMAW/Stick, MIG, or TIG welding. The role includes reading fabrication drawings, preparing materials, welding joints, and ensuring quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform ARC welding on MS/SS metal components and structures
- Read and interpret fabrication drawings and blueprints
- Fit and align metal parts before welding
- Cut, grind, drill, and prepare materials for fabrication
- Operate welding machines, grinders, gas cutting tools, and hand tools
- Inspect weld quality and repair defects if required
- Maintain welding equipment and tools properly
- Follow safety procedures and use PPE during work
- Complete assigned fabrication work within deadlines
- Work in flat, vertical, and overhead welding positions if needed

Qualification
- ITI Welder / Fitter or equivalent
- Welding certification preferred (AWS/ASME added advantage)

Experience
- 1–5 years preferred in fabrication, construction, or manufacturing industries
Pay: ₹30,511.01 - ₹35,622.98 per month
