We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented QA Engineer with experience in both manual and automation testing. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of software testing fundamentals, automation concepts, and Playwright, along with the ability to quickly understand new applications, technologies, and business domains.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, end-to-end, smoke, and exploratory testing.
- Test web and mobile applications across different platforms and environments.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright.
- Apply automation testing concepts and best practices, including the Page Object Model (POM).
- Validate APIs, databases, data, and end-to-end application workflows.
- Identify, document, track, and verify software defects.
- Identify edge cases, potential risks, and gaps in requirements.
- Quickly understand new business domains, application workflows, and technologies.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to ensure product quality.
Required Skills
- 2–3 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance and Testing.
- Strong understanding of manual and automation testing concepts and best practices.
- Strong knowledge of automation framework concepts, including Page Object Model (POM).
- Knowledge of Playwright, Playwright MCP and Playwright Test Agents.
- Experience creating and maintaining reusable and scalable automated test suites.
- Strong ability to create comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
- Knowledge of database systems and SQL for data validation.
- Basic understanding of API testing and REST APIs.
- Experience testing web and mobile applications.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies, applications, and business domains.
- Ability to understand complex workflows and identify edge cases and potential risks.
- Good communication skills, attention to detail, and a strong sense of ownership.
Good to Have
Experience with AI-assisted testing tools and workflows.
Knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript.
Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience with mobile automation tools.
Experience with API testing tools such as Postman.

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
