We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Diesel Supervisor to manage fuel operations and ensure effective diesel monitoring across our project sites.
Job Summary
The Diesel Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing diesel procurement, storage, issuance, consumption monitoring, and stock reconciliation for all project sites. The role requires close coordination with the Plant & Machinery, Store, Accounts, and Site teams to ensure accurate fuel management, cost control, and timely reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor daily diesel receipt, storage, and issuance across project sites.
- Maintain accurate diesel stock registers and fuel consumption records.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly diesel MIS reports.
- Reconcile physical stock with system records and investigate variances.
- Coordinate diesel requirements with project sites and vendors.
- Monitor fuel consumption of heavy equipment, vehicles, and DG sets.
- Ensure proper documentation of fuel receipts, invoices, and delivery challans.
- Support internal and external audits related to diesel inventory.
- Implement fuel control measures to minimize wastage and pilferage.
- Coordinate with the Plant & Machinery, Procurement, Store, and Accounts departments for smooth operations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory requirements related to fuel handling and storage.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in any discipline.
- 3–6 years of experience in diesel or fuel management, preferably in the infrastructure, construction, mining, or EPC industry.
- Good knowledge of fuel inventory management and stock reconciliation.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems.
- Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of heavy construction equipment and vehicle fuel consumption.
- Experience in ERP-based inventory management.
- Strong reporting and documentation skills.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
