About the Role
A high-ownership senior role where you'll keep the live gateway running while building the next layer — AI agents, MCP servers, RAG pipelines, and automation workflows. You'll work directly with the founder and shape product direction.
What You'll Do
- Maintain and operate the production AI Gateway on AWS EKS
- Build and deploy autonomous AI agents with memory, tool use, and orchestration
- Develop MCP servers for secure agent access to internal systems and APIs
- Design and manage RAG pipelines — ingestion, embedding, vector search, retrieval evaluation
- Build AI-powered automation workflows with full audit trails
Must Have
- 5+ years in software engineering; 2+ years building LLM applications in production
- Hands-on experience with AI agents — tool use, memory, multi-step reasoning
- Strong Python (production-grade async)
- One or more agent frameworks — LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, or AutoGen
- MCP (Model Context Protocol) — built or integrated MCP servers
- RAG pipeline experience end-to-end
- TypeScript / Node.js comfort
- AWS fundamentals — EKS, S3, Bedrock, IAM
- Understanding of LLM security risks — prompt injection, jailbreaking, data exfiltration
