We are seeking a Chartered Accountant (CA) to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in taxation (GST, TDS, etc.), accounts receivables and payables, financial statement preparation (BS, P&L, income statements, cash flows), budgeting, fund management, and complete bookkeeping. This role is crucial for ensuring statutory compliance, accurate financial reporting, and effective fund utilization.
Key Responsibilities
1. Taxation (GST, TDS, etc.)
- Handle tax planning, compliance, and preparation of GST and TDS returns.
- Prepare and fi le income tax returns, support tax audits, and manage statutory fi lings.
- Advise on TDS applicability and withholding tax implications related to domestic and international transactions.
- Ensure prompt tax payments and track changes in tax regulations to optimize company tax strategies.
2. Accounts Receivables
- Generate and issue invoices; monitor and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Reconcile customer accounts and resolve billing disputes professionally.
- Prepare aging reports, ensure timely cash collection, and maintain up-to-date receivables records.
3. Accounts Payables
- Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payments.
- Reconcile vendor statements and handle queries or payment disputes.
- Maintain accurate payables records and assist in month-end close processes.
4. Financial Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L, Income Statements, Cash Flow Statements).
- Perform variance analysis and interpret financial data for management reporting.
- Ensure financial statements comply with accounting standards (IND AS/IFRS/GAAP).
5. Budgeting & Fund Management
- Lead and coordinate annual and quarterly budget preparation with relevant stakeholders.
- Monitor budget performance, analyze variances, and propose corrective actions.
- Manage fund flow, working capital, and cost optimization strategies.
- Prepare forecasts and support strategic planning initiatives.
6. Complete Bookkeeping
- Record, track, and reconcile daily financial transactions.
- Maintain general ledger, update cash and bank balances, and oversee payroll entries.
- Assist in tax preparation, audit processes, and ensure data integrity in all books of account.
SKILLS:
- Proficiency with accounting software (SAP/Excel).
- Solid understanding of GST, TDS, and Indian statutory compliances.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to work independently and in teams.
- Knowledge of IND AS/IFRS is an advantage.
