Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and responsible Senior Interior Designer to lead interior design projects from initial discussions through design finalisation and execution.The Senior Designer will act as the key point of coordination between the client, design team, and execution team, ensuring that project requirements are clearly understood, designs are developed and frozen on time, and the project progresses smoothly as per the agreed scope, quality, and timelines.
The role involves client handling, design decision-making, team coordination, design approvals, and project execution support. The candidate should have strong design understanding along with excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of assigned interior design projects from concept stage through execution.
- Understand client requirements, expectations, budget, functionality, and design preferences.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients for all design-related discussions.
- Develop and present design concepts, layouts, material selections, mood boards, and overall design direction.
- Coordinate with the 2D and 3D design teams to ensure drawings and visualisations are developed as per the approved design direction.
- Review and provide inputs on 2D drawings, 3D views, renders, layouts, elevations, furniture plans, ceiling plans, etc.
- Coordinate with the design team to ensure designs are finalised and frozen within project timelines.
- Take client approvals at various stages and maintain proper documentation of design decisions and revisions.
- Ensure that changes requested by clients are evaluated and communicated effectively to the respective teams.
- Coordinate with the execution/site team to ensure the approved design is implemented accurately.
- Conduct regular site visits and identify/resolve design-related issues during execution.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders whenever required.
- Ensure materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and other design elements are aligned with the approved design.
- Monitor project progress and proactively highlight design or execution-related concerns.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring timely completion of design deliverables and approvals.
- Guide and coordinate junior/intermediate designers working on assigned projects.
- Ensure effective communication between clients, designers, and execution teams.- Maintain high standards of design quality, detailing, functionality, and aesthetics throughout the project.
- Participate in project meetings and provide regular updates on design status, pending approvals, and critical decisions.
Candidate Profile- Bachelor's/Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- 5–8 years of relevant experience in interior design/project handling.
- Strong understanding of interior design, space planning, materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and execution.
- Experience in handling clients independently and managing design discussions.
- Strong ability to lead and coordinate design teams.
- Good understanding of 2D drawings and 3D visualisations, with the ability to review and guide dedicated 2D/3D teams.
- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to take ownership of projects.- Ability to manage multiple projects and work within strict timelines.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp/3D software, or other relevant design software is an advantage, but the primary requirement is strong project and design management capability.
- Candidates with experience in corporate, commercial, office, hospitality, or high-end residential interiors will be preferred.

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
