We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Lab Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of hands-on laboratory experience in a hospital, diagnostic center, or clinical laboratory setting. The Lab Technician will be responsible for performing routine and specialized laboratory tests, handling laboratory equipment, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring timely and precise reporting of test results.
The candidate should possess strong technical knowledge of laboratory procedures, sample collection and processing, quality control standards, and infection prevention protocols. The role requires excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment while maintaining high standards of accuracy and patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, label, process, and analyze patient samples including blood, urine, and other specimens.
- Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests as per standard procedures.
- Operate, maintain, and calibrate laboratory equipment and instruments.
- Ensure accurate documentation and timely reporting of test results.
- Follow laboratory quality control procedures and safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper sterilization of laboratory equipment and work areas.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate procurement of laboratory supplies.
- Assist doctors and healthcare professionals with diagnostic procedures and reports.
- Ensure compliance with infection control, laboratory regulations, and accreditation standards.
- Handle patient information confidentially and professionally.
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT/ DMLT/BMLT) or related field.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Lab Technician.
- Strong knowledge of laboratory testing procedures and equipment handling.
- Familiarity with laboratory information systems and documentation practices.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Knowledge of safety, infection control, and quality assurance standards.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
