Hiring: Graphic Designer + Video EditorAbout the Role
We’re looking for a highly creative and execution-focused designer who can handle both graphic design and heavy video editing work for fast-paced digital content requirements.
This is not a traditional “only Canva” design role. We need someone who understands visual storytelling, social-first content, branding consistency, and high-volume editing across multiple formats.
The ideal candidate should be able to independently create engaging creatives, edit short-form and long-form videos, and turn raw ideas into polished content quickly.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit high-quality short-form videos for:
- Instagram Reels
- LinkedIn content
- YouTube Shorts
- Ads and promotional campaigns
- Handle long-form video editing including:
- Podcasts
- Interviews
- Founder-led content
- Webinar snippets
- Create graphic assets for:
- Social media
- Branding
- Marketing campaigns
- Presentations
- Recruitment creatives
- Add motion graphics, transitions, subtitles, sound effects, and basic animations
- Repurpose one content piece into multiple formats/platforms
- Maintain brand consistency across all visual communication
- Work closely with founders/marketing team for quick turnaround content execution
Must Have Skills
- Strong expertise in:
- Adobe Premiere Pro
- After Effects
- Photoshop
- Illustrator
- Canva
- Excellent video editing capabilities with a strong portfolio
- Understanding of pacing, hooks, retention editing, and viral-style content
- Experience with subtitle styling, transitions, color correction, and audio syncing
- Ability to work on multiple projects with fast turnaround timelines
- Strong design sense and attention to detail
Good to Have
- Experience working with startups or fast-growing companies
- Knowledge of AI design/editing tools
- Basic animation and motion graphics skills
- Understanding of social media trends and content psychology
