Position: CG Supervisor

Role Overview
The CG Supervisor is responsible for leading and overseeing all CG departments, ensuring the artistic and technical quality of assets and shots while managing artists and production workflows. The role involves coordinating with team leads, assigning tasks, reviewing work, solving technical challenges, and ensuring projects are delivered on schedule and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise CG artists across Modeling, Texturing, Rigging, Animation, Environment, Lighting, FX, and Rendering departments.
- Review and approve assets, shots, and final outputs to maintain quality standards.
- Assign tasks and monitor project progress across teams.
- Collaborate with Production Managers to meet project deadlines and milestones.
- Provide artistic and technical guidance to artists.
- Identify and resolve workflow, pipeline, and production challenges.
- Ensure consistency in visual quality across all projects.
- Conduct daily reviews, feedback sessions, and team meetings.
- Coordinate with clients, directors, and stakeholders when required.
- Develop and improve CG production pipelines and best practices.
- Mentor junior and mid-level artists and support skill development within the team.
- Ensure efficient utilization of resources and team productivity.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of CG production pipelines.
- Experience in Modeling, Texturing, Rigging, Animation, Lighting, Rendering, and FX workflows.
- Proficiency with industry-standard software such as Autodesk Maya, Blender, Unreal Engine, Houdini, Substance Painter, Nuke, and related tools.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Understanding of project planning, scheduling, and production workflows.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Experience
- 5+ years of experience in Animation, VFX, or CG production.
- Previous experience leading artists or supervising production teams.
- Experience delivering projects for films, television, games, advertising, or digital content.
