Job Description – Placement Officer Position: Placement Officer Location: Nagpur Employment Type: Full-Time About the Role We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Placement Officer to build strong relationships with IT companies, generate placement opportunities, and ensure successful student placements. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication, networking, and corporate relationship management skills with a strong understanding of IT recruitment. Key Responsibilities - Develop and maintain relationships with IT companies, HR professionals, recruiters, and staffing partners. - Generate placement opportunities through direct corporate outreach and networking. - Schedule campus drives, walk-in interviews, and virtual recruitment events. - Coordinate the complete recruitment process between students and employers. - Conduct placement readiness sessions including resume building, interview preparation, aptitude assessments, and mock interviews. - Track student eligibility, interview performance, offers, and joining status. - Maintain placement databases, recruiter records, and placement reports. - Meet monthly placement targets and corporate engagement goals. - Collaborate with the training team to align student skills with industry requirements. - Organize career fairs, employer engagement programs, and networking events. - Build long-term partnerships with MNCs, startups, and IT service companies. Required Skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Strong corporate networking and relationship-building abilities. - Knowledge of IT hiring processes and recruitment trends. - Negotiation and coordination skills. - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Google Workspace. - Ability to work under targets and deadlines. Eligibility - Bachelor's or Master's degree in any discipline. - 2–5+ years of experience in Placement, Recruitment, HR, Talent Acquisition, Business Development, or Corporate Relations. - Experience in the IT, Education, or Staffing industry is preferred. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) - Number of corporate tie-ups established. - Number of placement drives conducted. - Student interview conversion rate. - Offer letters and successful joinings. - Employer satisfaction and repeat hiring partnerships. - Monthly and quarterly placement targets achieved.
