Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to lead our IELTS Department at TIJU’S Academy, Mavelikkara. As the HOD, you will be responsible for academic leadership, faculty management, and ensuring student success. This is a full-time, permanent position.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Academic Leadership
- Provide strategic direction to the IELTS department, set academic goals, and ensure compliance with institutional standards.
- Curriculum Development
Design, update, and implement IELTS training modules aligned with international testing requirements.
Recruit, train, and mentor IELTS trainers; conduct evaluations and foster professional growth.Monitor student performance, introduce remedial measures, and drive high success rates in IELTS exams.Establish teaching standards, conduct audits, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.Manage departmental schedules, resources, and budgets effectively.Collaborate with students, parents, and external partners to enhance the department’s reputation.Introduce modern teaching methodologies, digital tools, and research-based practices to improve learning outcomes.Desired Qualifications

- Master’s degree in English, Education, or related field.
- IELTS certification or TESOL preferred.
- 5–7 years of teaching/training experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.

- Proven track record of improving student performance in IELTS.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
